As people, we have real concerns about how these tools are built and used. But as your attorneys, we also have an ethical obligation to handle your matter as effectively and efficiently as we can without cutting corners. Sometimes that means carefully bringing these tools into our workflow.
We want you to know exactly how Peach State Probate approaches that.
We use AI tools sparingly, and when we do, it's mostly for general research and thinking through legal questions, not for writing your documents or drafting legal advice.
We never trust a factual claim an AI tool spits out without verifying it ourselves through reliable legal sources.
We will never enter your name, your family's information, details about your estate, financial records, or anything else that could identify you into an AI tool.
Nothing AI-generated ever leaves our office without one of our attorneys reviewing, editing, and signing off on it first.

As of March 2026, your own conversations with AI tools are most likely not private or privileged. We know it can be tempting to ask ChatGPT to help you draft a will or sort through questions about an estate, but the team at Peach State Probate genuinely cannot recommend that.
Probate and estate documents carry enormous weight. A single error in how a will is worded or a trust is structured can lead to drawn-out disputes, unintended distributions, and real heartache for the people you're trying to protect.
If you've already started a draft with an AI tool, we're glad to take a look at it and work with you from there. But we'd much rather be involved from the beginning so we can get it right the first time.
